Book Review: Vampyrie: Origin of the Vampire

Finally getting back to my reading.Β  πŸ˜‰

This one grabbed me in the first few paragraphs. Occasionally, you’ll find tweaks on the vampire genre. This story has more than one, but I won’t offer any spoilers here. It’s well-written–with believable characters and dialogue. Tension and suspense grows as conflicts arise between the protagonist and her supporters.Β  Secrets and more secrets are revealed like an onion being peeled. The last few offer unexpected twists. If you like the genre–with accompanying suspense, you’ll love this one as I did.

  1. Thanks so much, John! I’m slowly recovering from a flareup and am so glad I caught Debby’s post. I’m pleased you enjoyed the book and am very appreciative of your fabulous review. Hugs, my friend <3

      1. I know all about that. The emoji’s work if they’re applied in doing a post but not so well in comments–especially ones from phones, at least my phone.

    1. You are quite welcome! Hope you get better soon. I’ve been having some sort of virus myself that causes the brain to take a vacation and the body to feel tired–makes for doing mindless tasks that can be done without exertion. πŸ™‚
